Hi, I’m Jayme, the maker, dreamer, and hands behind every Salt & Shea product. My skincare journey started long before Salt & Shea was even a thought—it’s been a lifelong passion. As a licensed esthetician, I used to run a treatment room, helping people navigate their skin concerns and find routines that truly worked. But my love for skincare didn’t just come from my profession; it’s deeply personal.
Growing up with sensitive skin, I could never tolerate those “smell good” mass-produced products that seemed to be everywhere. They’d leave me itchy, irritated, and frustrated. I wanted something better. Something gentle, nourishing, and, most importantly, clean. That’s what sparked my journey into creating my own products, and it’s been a labor of love ever since.
Living a natural, clean lifestyle has always been important to me, and that commitment shines through in every Salt & Shea product. I believe what we put on our skin matters, and I never cut corners when it comes to quality. Every bar of soap, every bottle of lotion, and every candle I make is carefully crafted by hand, using ingredients you can feel good about.
But Salt & Shea isn’t just about skincare, it’s about celebrating the little joys in life. As a busy mom of two young kids, I know how hard it can be to find time for yourself.
